I have taken the door card off my old v70 numerous times, but I couldnt explain it to someone,
Only advice is dont force it, because it will break Im sure Robert Spinner has vid for a s/v70 that will be similar

Yes, try and find a youtube video.
The two tricky bits I found was removing the trim from around the inside door handle and then easing the door card up and out of the window seal along the top. It also needs a bit of gentle controlled force to get the card back under the top seal and will need a trim tool or blunt knife to feed the card and seal together. Apart from that straight forward.

This might help: See the PDF, #1 start by popping out the small square cover in the door liner handle recess. #2 Then ease out/off the plastic bezel round the handle. #3 Lift out the rubber in the lower stowage and remove the screw. #4 The six plastic rivets along the bottom: these have a press-in mandril and are reusable as will be observable once removed. (i)Either ease bottom of the panel away from the metal flange using a wide plastic spathula (make one), (ii)or press the mandril through and retrieve from within the door once the door liner is removed. #5 On the vertical front and back there is snap-in plastic pop clip ease-out carefully they tend to get brittle so may fracture. #6 Top edge will ease out from the rubber next to the glass. Go carefully here as you need to reach in behind the door liner and disconnect the electric connectors. I fund rotating the liner provides better access to the connector clips. #7 If at all possible leave the window cassette in place, because adjusting is a real pain. Just remove the speaker. Burgess |

Hi Keith, I need to do exactly this on my car. If you are anywhere near Scholes let me know, we could compare notes.
