Part Number for this sensor is: 1052503. It clips into the underside of the drivers side (UK - R) wing mirror.
1. I haven't been able to find one anywhere. Anyone know who might supply it? 2. Skandix says the part is discontinued - has it been replaced with something else? 3. The 'outside temperature indicator' on the dash is showing no temperature, just dashes --. I assume this sensor is the problem? 4. Does the temperature reading from this sensor affect the operation of the air conditioner? Thanks for any help. |

Have you tried cleaning the sensor? Its underneath the driver's side mirror. Maybe there's dirt/debris on it. I'd try that before ordering anything. This part may only be available from the main dealer if you want new. I think sourcing a used one could be tricky, as its not a common part that fails.

I had one of these go on my V70 years ago.
A bit of Googling led me to the value of the thermistor. I bought one off ebay and fitted it in the original plastic housing. That might be an option for you.

I think this is the one I used to repair the V70 temp sensor.
You will need the 2K version. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153512135...3ABFBMhMP83Yxk
