My wife, Linda, and I are hoping to be there, 'J liddy'. I've lost count of the number that we have attended over the years, and, as you say, it is always a good day out

I've often thought that it would be nice if forum members had some way of identifying one another, with their "handles", maybe a badge or a sticker at sign in, perhaps? I could walk past you on the field and not know you from Adam at present!

Regards, John.

I won't be there this year - work interferes on Friday and Sunday, while the opthalmology clinicians have requested the use of my eyes on Saturday, which means I have to go with them as they lack redundancy and the design engineers omitted to make them removable

But, for those of you who ARE going - enjoy yourselves!

We'll be there.
You'll probably all be able to recognise my car by now, and we'll be the ones looking a bit shell-shocked that we got it back on the road in time!

What would you like to know?

The National is at Stratford again this year and is the flagship event in the VOC calendar. We aim to arrive between 11 and 12.00, register, have a walk round and lunch between 13 and 14.00, while the judging for the BKV is taking place. We wouldn't dare enter our old bus as it would instantly lower the tone of the exhibits. We then have another walk round the field, stalls, etc. Prize giving and raffle normally take place around 15 to 15.30, and we are usually on our way home by 16.00 or thereabouts.

That's our day, but of course yours may be quite different. Whatever it is, have a good one!

Regards, John.
