all the windows stopped working but the arm rest console lights up so i have power to the console .. it buzzes for a few seconds then dies .. i have bought a new arm console thinking that replace the whole cosole and it would fix the problem .. same thing happens .. all the green display lights come on it buzzes upon use then dies .. i have replaced the internal fuse .. another quirky thing .. the mirrors and central locking work fine

Are the windows controlled via relays or from a Body control module?

Buzzing sounds like a failed relay to me. They are electro-magnetic so can buzz if unable to fully engage due to a dodgy internal contact
