1800E coming up for auction
If anyone out there is looking for an 1800 coupe there is an 1800E coming up for auction at the next DVCA sale on June 20 in Dorset with a sensible estimate. Here is a link to the DVCA website. https://www.dvca.co.uk
Just by way of background I have owned this car for 18 years. I have aimed to keep it maintained as a reliable and original car that's ready to go anywhere as our 'second car' and which you don't have to worry too much about in terms of where you leave it parked etc. You can check out the on-line MoT history in the usual way. I don't think it has ever been restored as such but I believe was recomissioned by a previous owner after a period laid up. Early in my ownership I had the front chassis legs professionally replaced. I have replaced springs and dampers, swapped to 123 ignition distributor and recently renewed all fuel lines. The last but one owner before me was a family member of Volvo Enthusiast Club founder Kevin Price. There is a folder of the history during my ownership together with MoTs back to mid 1990s. Looks like a great car at a reasonable price. Good luck to whoever bidding.

Update and thank you
Well, the car sold at DVCA yesterday, so thank you to all those who looked at this post and maybe at the details on the auction website. If the new owner is someone on here then thank you very much and I do hope you get as much pleasure from it over the coming years as I've had during the time it has been in my custody.

edit to say that it's not the one I thought it was. I was referring to the white one on ebay. Yours looks lovely too by the way. Last edited by Courageous; Jun 21st, 2024 at 13:16. Reason: update |
