I don't know enough about electrics to comment on the anti-canbus setup. What I didn't spot was that my receipt for the bulbs was back in Novemeber 2011 when they didn't do "ant-canbus" bulbs. But the 286 is the right size, I assume some ebay sellers may do the standard led bulbs, mine where 66p each as a reference.

I've bought some white ones from ace parts and they are pretty weak!
