Another option for the pedal switches is to use the brake light feed from the existing switch via a relay then for the clutch pedal fit a brake light switch from a VW Beetle (early type) or the VW type 2 camper van, these are hydraulic pressure switches and cost under £5 new on-line, you might need a couple of addaptors to match the threads but they are easy to source - Mike

Digging up an old thread here, but anyway...
I never did manage to fit a Volvo cruise control system to my '89 GLT, but still fancy having cruise. The complexity put me off. I have since stumbled across Rostra who make a fully electronic universal fit system that doesn't rely on the car's vacuum, it has it's own servo motor. From reading the installation manual it looks to me as though
