C70: - Rattling and wet boot lining

Hello
I am new to here after buying 08 Volvo C70 on 13/11/15
I have noticed as I am driving round there is a rattling/banging coming from the boot area. I think this may be caused by the mechanism for the roof being loose and free to move in the boot. Has anyone else had this issue? Also has anyone had issues with leaks in the boot area after rain?

You might be better off posting this in the later forum - this is for C70 up to 2005.
