S40: - 2003 S40 1.9Di Sport Remap

Hi, guys new to these forums so be nice...

Thinking of getting my S40 Diesel Sport remapped but not sure how this would affect reliability, would appreciate some input from anyone whos already done this and can advise on how much they gained in performace and any problems you had.

A proper remap or a tuning box people have added the Italian tuning box but I don't think it makes all that much difference the diesel was de tuned by volvo for reliability they are quite nippy anyway I wouldn't bother tbh if you want something with poke get a t4 or 2.0t but the volvo d is never going to be a 3.0 Audi d. I've blanked the egr valve off that made a difference especially in lower gears but until I get my clutch in next week I've been driving like a grandad.
