Unhappy No Drivers side Low Beam - CEM RELAY repair???

I am new to the group and this is my first post of the distress I am havin with a 2006 S60 2.5 T
I have a non functional drivers side headlight. I changed the bulb, swapped the headlight wiring harness both inside the headlight and outside leading to it.
All fuses are good.
I under the understanding that I have a CEM fault from reading the relates threads. My questions are,
1) if the culprit is a relay in the CEM, can I replace it and which one is it? I see from removing the CEM, that there are two relays on the board that are soldered directly to if rather than by being plugged into it.
2) if it isn't the relay and I can't afford the 1000 bucks to fix a spent CEM, is there some way that I run the driers headlight from the functional passenger one. If so, how would I do this. I assume I need to add a relay and a fuse of some sort.
3) is there a way to repair a bad relay?
Thanks for any help.
