Book time for maintenance - 4 months early

Hi Folks

At some point in the last couple of weeks, my car has popped up with the book time for maintenance message. Service status has 4 months and 10k miles remaining. Total mileage is just under 94k.

I don't believe this message has ever been displayed so early in the 6 years I've had the car. Probably more like 2 months before it's due and the dealer definitely reset the service indicator at the last service

Any thoughts on whether there might be something else triggering it? I've not had a chance to call Volvo yet

Probably not reset correctly at last service, if it annoys you there is a method to reset it (not my work but I found it on this forum):

Put key in slot

Short press of start button

Press and hold trip button (must be in T1)- press start again and hold

When "I" display flashes release.

Reset done..

It will reset odometer readings so take a note of them if you need them.

Thanks. I can live with it but was just surprised it even came up as the service status still says 4 month and 10k miles remaining

Just want sure if there was something else that I need to take care of

The BOOK TIME FOR SERVICE Message comes up one Month before the usual SERVICE REQUIRED message to give you time to sort out a booking. This counter starts from zero again when the service message is cancelled, Presumably 11 months ago. check the actual date of the last service ?

Last service was in May so either Aberdeen Volvo haven't reset or properly or something else is due. Service status on the car still says 4 months and 10k miles until service due ...
