Hi all !
So I've recently swapped my v70 d5 185 due to ulez and got myself a 2002 2.4 petrol non turbo manual, just run in at 210,000miles ! I'm working through jobs on it and had the non working aircon diagnosed as a leaking condenser. Was quoted ridiculous money for a replacement. Im reasonably handy with the spanners and im planning to swap it out myself and take it in for a regas. I've had a look and it seems like I can take bumper and slam panel off and get access from above and below and take the condenser out the top, then pop new one in and reconnect-leaving the radiator in place. As its a manual non turbo there are no atf lines or intercooler. Has anyone done this job, and are there any snags I need to consider, and am I being overly optimistic!??!! Thanks in advance for all your help ! Last edited by Muskahound; May 31st, 2024 at 15:09. |
