MY24 Vovlo XC60 Servicing

I currently lease an MY24 Volvo XC60 and it is due it's first service. I was under the impression that a maintaince package was included in the lease agreement as it is a subscription based lease which Volvo have now moved away from. However it appears that it is not the case and no maintenance package is included on subscriptions so I have to pay for servicing.

The car has done 6,536 miles from new since last July - any ideas the magnitude of the bill I can expect for the first service? I am currently trying to workout which body organs I need to sell to cover it.

Is this the care by Volvo lease? I to thought everything was included considering the astronomical price they charge for it………

I don’t think they do much on the first service anyway. They certainly don’t change the oil. Just decline all the ‘recommended ’ extras: aircon service; fuel treatment etc.
is there any chance you could use an independent? If it’s leased you are not really bothered about a Volvo service stamp, and if it’s carried out to Volvo specifications I don’t see a problem.

You may get away with the £249 service but I think they'll nail you to the higher ones so expect up to £450 and hope I'm wrong.
