can anyone who has tried any fuel saving gadgets e.g. ecotec valve, ecoflow magnet, removing the cat etc. please give your opinions on there effectivness, as im sick of getting 26mpg on a mostly motorway run.

This one again!!
Ecotecs got trashed the last time they were mentioned.... <http://www.ecotekplc.co.uk/> A mate of mine bought an Ecotec for his Pug GTI6 and has seen 3-4 mpg improvement and he drives like a nutter. I bought one as a trial to see if it would work and put it on my wifes Fiesta 1.25 16v. It took ten minutes to fit. From a 40 litre tank she used to get 240 miles before the low fuel light came on. She now regularly gets gets 300!! This is fact no bull****!! I feel it has also made it a smoother drive and the engine more responsive. I still haven't summed up the courage to get another for the R and improve on the 21 mpg. Let the feeding frenzy begin.... |
