I know where theres a good cheap engine, but I'm praying with you that you don't need it

Engines rely on pressure to raise the boiling point of water, although they should never reach boiling point, if well up in temp, they will push water out

Hi All,

Just an update.

With HUGE thanks to gpl1968, I've now got a working expansion tnak cap which seems to have solved the water loss.

I've thrashed it up & down the same hills that caused it boil over in the first place and all is well...phew!

Andy, don't lose track of that D24 just yet

gpl1968, thank you very much for your help. It really is appreciated, if I can ever help give me a shout.

Cheers,
Rich

The guy who owns the car it came from still has the car, he removed the engine because there was a ticking noise in it, so the guy he bought the car from, bought the engine back, I'm considering buying engine and car, but the car needs work and a respray, but both car and engine would be cheap

Came from a 1995 945
