As anyone had any luck getting the vanity light (interior light on roof) to work properly? I can get them to turn off when I close the door but then I come back and they're on again! When I also turn them on manually turning the ignition turns them off. The push rod things that turn the lights off when you close the doors work.
cheers, Carl. |

Hi,
The only usual issue with the interior lights is usually to do with that pillar mounted pressure switch. If the light stays on, it should then go out after a delay as there is a time delay relay in the circuit. Once the alarm is set and doors locked they should switch off. It may depend on what model car you have though... Des. . . ![]()

Didn't think of the time delay! Managed to get it working with a brief play about, but it's far too cold atm. Hopefully a bit of warmer weather will materialise after next week and I can have a good look at it then.
