Cool Check the tyre size and speed/load rating for your car here!

Came across this nifty tyre sizing website while double-checking load ratings before ordering my tyres:

http://www.sizemytires.com/ - pretty much any car you may have

Straight to the point, all the Volvo years at a glance (boring format, minimise scrolling by using the above link):

http://www.sizemytires.com/make/volvo

It not only gives "original" and "alternative" tyre sizes, it also provides the minimum speed and load ratings for the tyres for each model and year.

Pretty good tool if you are thinking of upsizing or downsizing.

Just checked mine.

http://www.sizemytires.com/vehicle/2004/volvo/s60

Mine are 17's, and it only lists 16's and 15's. Even tho 15's have never been used..

Bag of crap..

The site linked to above contains misleading, downright incorrect and potentially dangerous information.

Does not cover my car 2006 S60 D5 with 225/45/17. Diesel must not exist in the website designers mind.

It got the tyre sizes right for my car, as well as the minimum speed and load ratings, so I am afraid I assumed that it was legitimate.

The main difference, as far as I can see, is that it is an American website (tires, not tyres) and so much of the suggestions are for the US market. Given the vast array of tyres and specifications on the market today on both sides of the Atlantic, it could still be useful as a guideline.
