I'd also be interested in any info on this as I'll have to do it soon. One of the side trim strips is a bit loose on mine so will need looking at - plus they are a little dented so I was planning on taking the dents out somehow. I was told that putting a sealant under the strips is a good idea to help stop rain getting into the body work - does anyone have any opinions or experience with this?

hi mate, its pretty easy once youve got the window winder handle off, the panel just pulls straight off, but the get the window handle off push the black ring towards the door card then push it towards the top of the handle and that should release the clip inside it, will try and take some pics and upload them, if you want?

Default Door Trim

Hi, I am reading this and wondering how the door trim (SS piece under the drivers window) is removed? Pried up, pulled off in some way? I note the response that there’s a clip that goes over the door, does this mean attached to the chrome as piece and pried up as a whole? Any help appreciated as I want to do as little damage as possible! Many thanks in advance. Mike.

Door handle is the only tricky thing if it’s same as the Amazon you can buy a tool for little money https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176462010...mis&media=COPY
I’d also invest in a set of plastic trim removal tools to pop the clips out without damaging the delicate hardboard

If it’s the outside one they just clip in, use a plastic pry bar to gently lift it up and work it along
You are supposed to seal the clips with a putty from the inside when re fitting but I prefer these
