I have a set of 4 Comets I am going to refurb for sale. Which colour do you think is most desired? Silver or graphite?

they are physically fine, I had them refurbished in graphite by a place in Melton Mowbray getting on a bout 3 years ago, when they shipped them back they sent them face to face and they chipped together, they have been sat around eversince. I can take photos later and post them. to be honest it's very annoying as only the paint has chipped off. I would consider selling them as is, think on a price.

It really depends on what colour car they are going on. I went for graphite tho.

Here's a pic of mine in Graphite; think they look better than Silver on a black car, not sure about other colours.

Chriskays picture shows Colomba wheels not Comets. Comets are the ones fitted to the 'R's. The correct colour is graphite and the nerarest match is nissan graphite. That is if you want to match them at Halfords. The only silver comets I have seen have been on C70's. So if you have an R don't put silver ones on. Graphite for Comets and silver for Colomba#s thats what I say.

Silver comets are a legitimate option, but many/most came with graphite. My Saffron Pearl S70R came with Graphite & my Black Stone S70R came with Silver.

So to recap the S70R & V70R 'Comet' are 7" x 17" and were available in either silver or graphite. The C70 alloys are known as 'Comet-C' and are 7.5" x 17" and only came in silver.

For future reference only the Comet-C wheels clear the AP brakes without spacers and they are a bit touch and go.

Yeah, sorry, should have said they weren't Comets; only posted for the colour.
