Default Volvo 850 T5 2.3 Black Estate for Sale £150 ono

MOT has 3 months to run until 26 July 2014
M543PJO 1st registered 1st Aug 1994 one of the first 850 T5 available
Dark cream coloured leather seats, 5 x Alloy wheels, Manual gears, Petrol, Tow-bar (removable), multi-CD player/cassette/radio with security code, sun-roof, regularly serviced, reliable engine, turbo still fine as car not driven hard - it's very quick, only 2 owners including me, clean coolant, uses little oil.
Approx 195,000 miles - MOT readings: Aug'10 170,300 - Aug'11 180,700 - Aug'12 182,900 (then plastic cog in milometer broke, a common problem)
--------------
Notes for buyer:
some minor bodywork dents;
bonnet hinges bent after its retaining catch not replaced during a service and bonnet flipped up while driving slowly, it closes fine but is slightly raised at screen end;
driver's door outside window rubber missing;
needs new rear windscreen wiper arm;
general wear and tear;
brake servo needs attention as when used in heavy stop/start traffic it overheats then very heavy to use, then is OK again after cooling for a few minutes, this can happen to the clutch as well if gets very hot;
glove box locking and its internal door plastic broken by thief;
That's all the problem stuff I can think of.
--------------
I’ve owned this car for 16 years and love it, and would now like an enthusiast to sort out the occasional brake problem, and either drive it for the remaining 3 months of its MOT, or put it back on the road. If the traffic's not heavy everything works as normal.

was going to say, whip off RIP and any other goodies and get scrap man to collect, less hassle and more money, and if you haven't cashed in tax yet there 60 there as well.

did it have the very early bumpers with the convolutions at side, like the 940's

Damn wish you weren't 450 miles away otherwise I'd take that off your hand as sounds like a solid project car that needs a few things. Glows!

Default Car sold

Dear All,
Please accept my apologies for the delay in replying, Steve came up from Worthing this morning, and I've just sold it to him. I was waiting for the sale completed before responding to you.
Thank you for your interest.
All the best, Nick
