Thumbs up VIDA programming help in Scotland

Hi folks
I recently fitted powerfold mirrors to my 2010 XC90 active, along with the switch in the centre console.
Unfortunately the car has to be programmed for the mirrors to fold (and the puddle lights to illuminate)
Does anyone out there have any help they could steer me towards to get these mirrors working? The main dealers in Edinburgh and Aberdeen want an absolute fortune for this - the ones in Dundee don't know what I'm talking about, so I'll not go there.....

I'm based in Kinross in Scotland, but work in Aberdeen regularly.

So Aberdeen, kinross, Edinburgh would be grand, if there's any kind souls out there with VIDA installed on a laptop that could help!

Anything would be greatly apreciated!

If it needs new software installing (and I think it does, to tell the car the new mirrors are installed), then it is a dealer job only.

You need to have a subscription to the Volvo network to download successfully.

A good indy might also be able to help, but private individuals with VIDA not.

*If its only a case of changing a setting, someone might be able to help, but I think its more than that in this case*

Have you tried Strathmore at Perth. There is also an Indy at Cowdenbeath who comes highly recommended - Sealey, Wilson Street.
