Stereo/Phone/SatNav : - Volvo S40 2007 Android Radio Install

Hi All,

I’m currently looking into replacing my radio system with a Android radio. Something similar to the pictures attached. Anyone have experience in doing this and is it difficult?
Any recommends on a model of radio I should buy? Thanks

I'm sure someone way smarter than me will come and explain. I looked into it also, it's doable but it's way more complicated than it should be.

Ive seen similar items and was very tempted but didn't want to lose all the functionality in the current system.

if you do get it done would be great if you posted up on how it is etc

As said above, it's not easy. Physical fit is a major headache because of the way that the factory fit radio is configured, a separate display (which is shared with other car functions) and another box for the CD/Radio.

It gets worse if you have anything but the base audio system.

I would suggest that unless you want to make modifications to the facia one of the purpose made conversions is the only option.

Ok sounds like an absolute nightmare by the sounds of it. Might look into getting it professionally done maybe. Thanks everyone
