I used to own the car and have many fond memories of her..
I have some old MOT's that I found whilst having a clear out which I can send to the current owner if they are of interest, I can also fill you in with some of her history Regards Kieron |

I know this is a hell of a thread resurrection, 17 years later, to a user who doesn't even have a profile, but Kieron if you are still out there drop me a message!

Just for reference, it's no longer grey, but it is still well loved and well used!

I don't suppose you have any information on what you did and when?
I bought her from a garage a couple of years ago but they had no paper work. I went off condition alone as I knew I was going to use it alot. I'd love to know the history of the car. |

Hi Robert, this is amazing! I never thought I would get any of the history of the vehicle.
I'd love to see the full set, all the work that was done to it. I'd be more than happy to send you a link to a Dropbox or Google drive so I don't take up all your hosted storage space. I can PM you with my email address to save everyone else on the forum but it's so nice to know people keep history and these cars get passed from custodian to custodian! You've made my day with these images! |

Argh I tried to private message you but I don't have enough posts to message admins. D'oh.
Any chance you could drop me a message and I can reply? Apologies in the delay getting back to you on this. I absolutely loved seeing all the images of the car post restoration. You've done an amazing job on it. I purchased the car with no history because I gave it a thorough inspection and thought the condition was excellent. After I purchased it a couple of years ago I took it to a Volvo specialist in Putney, he was very complimentary about the condition of the car, but he did tell me it wasn't a Volvo red and said he had a sneaking suspicion it was Ferrari red, so he has a good eye on him! I'd love to know any more that you know about the car and see any of the in progress work pictures. I've only done little pieces here and there. I've created a folder in my drop box if you have any more pictures: I used the car as my only car while I was living in London, reliable enough to drive, no ULEZ, and I always get compliments wherever it goes. It was my wedding car as well so is in pride of place in multiple pictures on my walls. I've taken it to multiple classic events and Goodwood revival a few times. It always gets a great reception and got photographed for a couple of car mags. Unfortunately my work in the automotive industry has shipped me out to California for the last year so its been tucked up in hibernation at my parents garage so trying to dig through the history is the closest I can get to the car right now! Thanks a million! Tom |
