Hello all,
Any advise appreciated. Have searched through threads but cannot see anything similar. Although possible battery or hard reset. Transmission service displayed this week followed by Parking brake univailable ABS/ESC failure TPS pressure univailable Have booked it in to dealer but can't fit in untill 4th August. Car has done 38000 miles Any ideas. Car drives fine and faults appear shortly after startup. Last service 3 weeks ago Thanks |

These are the faults today.
No transmission fault this time. Seems to be spurious day to day |

These faults could all be related to a single wheel sensor. Might be worth checking that nothing has been knocked off when it was serviced.

in this case it was broken ABS sensor. But it can be also wire for parking break broken. Better read the codes. |

When I had a parking brake fault, there was no fault showing for ABS or tyre.
However the "tyre pressure" monitoring on these cars is nothing of the sort. It actually monitors the speed of the wheel, and if one wheel repeatedly turns at a markedly different speed to the opposite on the axle, it pops up a flat tyre message. Same speed sensor does the tyre pressure, ABS and also traction control, so you'll get all three faults if one sensor goes out.

So checked codes using car scanner and veepeak Bluetooth BLE+ dongle. Speed sensor 1 showing 150mph car stationary. Also shows fault code C0031 left front speed sensor fault. See attached. So this would be a short circuit as full voltage feeding back? Will check wiring /sensor or replace.
I'm guessing the parking brake unavailable is due to it thinking the car is moving in front left wheel? Transmission fault linked as code from transmission control unit. TPS fault as neilgorin stated. |

Here some photos from S90, and it looks that same set of errors, and the reason is broken ABS sensor https://www.drive2.ru/l/641823146235679986/ |
