Anyone looking for new tailgate struts?
Just stumbled across Eurocarparts selling Lesjofors tailgate struts for £5.79 each….. just ordered a couple myself and thought a few others might need them.
Cheers, Rob. |

Hi Steve, just been on there to check for you and they’ve disappeared? They only list the Stabilus ones? Maybe they only had a few left in stock hence the price!! Sorry about that.. Rob. |

Hi NinjaBob81 and bob12,
OK thanks anyway. My tip for those struts: Remove the old struts in the usual way (remove retaining clip if any). Then before you refit, loosen the bolts that hold the strut bracket to the body. This lets the bracket slide slightly Then fit the new struts, fit the retaining pins, then slide the bracket to adjust position as desired and re-tighten the bolts to the roof. If you don't do that it can sometimes be a struggle to get the new struts in, especially if they are a slightly longer length than OEM. Hope that helps, Steve
