Default Alternate input on the RTI Screen

Hi

I've been searching around the net for a while now, for a solution to putting a different input onto the RTI screen.

I've seen a couple of devices, a Navinks, a Navinc and something that keeps coming up on Facebook made in Poland.

Essentially it'd be great to put an HDMI or composite source on it, has anyone managed it without much modification to the car?

Loathe to swap out the screen - I think the Navinks uses the nav dvd system under the seat somehow...

It's NAVIKS - don't know anything about it but I'll have a look on-line and see what I can find out.

Cheers

If you're not bothered about going back to the original display you can physically change the screen inside the display for one that is higher resolution, brighter and already has HDMI built in. I've done this for the display in my V70 which is identical to the one used in the XC90. The OEM screen was OK but it's 20 year old technology, newer screens are so much better.
